The origin of COVID-19
In December 2019, the first cases of the new coronavirus COVID-19 were detected. In Wuhan, China, the first cases were detected. COVID-19 is part of the «Coronavirus» family. The «coronavirus» only affected animals in the past, but it mutated. The new mutation affects humans. The new virus is COVID-19. COVID-19 is incubated in the human body for 14 to 15 days. The most common symptoms that people can have when they become infected are fever, feeling tired, cough, and shortness of breath. COVID-19 affects especially vulnerable people such as the elderly.
